Have you ever wanted to learn how to grow your own food, but didn’t know where to start? We will walk you through all the basics from soil prep, to raised beds, to planting in the right season, with a focus on growing in containers!

A 2 in 1 class~ When vegetable gardening in Texas, timing is everything. Being able to start vegetable (and other) seeds indoors gives a gardener more control over choosing plant varieties, as well as timing.  Plus, it’s fun!  We will teach you all the tricks to starting seeds indoors successfully, so you can have the freedom of planting what you want, when you want.

Also learn how to save your seeds at the end of the season.  When you correctly save your own home grown vegetable seeds over time, you get varieties that are uniquely well-adapted to your specific site – and your palates!  Save your own vegetable seeds to save money, preserve genetic diversity, and ensure you’ll never be without that favorite vegetable variety.
