Beyond planting flowers, participants will learn simple ways to provide nesting habitat for native bees, from preserving natural nesting sites to using designed native bee houses. Plant diversity and bloom succession can provide valuable resources for honey bees and native bees throughout the seasons. Nathalie will also be answering common questions about hive setup , bee care and honey harvesting.  Join us to learn how to use thoughtful gardening practices in our own backyards that support wildlife habitats big and small.
